Relational Depth

Identify which relationships offer ideal proximity

Share

Core Idea

Not every connection deserves depth.
Relational Depth is the ability to detect which relationships offer ideal proximity: close enough to feel seen, far enough to remain whole.
It’s a filter for emotional coherence.

The model reframes how we evaluate relationships:
Does this person expand your thinking, clarify your values, and energize your actions? Or do they subtly blur your sense of direction, drain your focus, or trigger performative habits?

When you learn to sense this difference early, you stop overinvesting in shallow intensity and start cultivating deliberate depth.
