Luck Surface Area

Your work has leverage when people can find it

Core Idea

Luck isn’t magic. It’s math.

Your Luck Surface Area is the product of two forces:

  1. How much you’re doing (deep, consistent work)
  2. How much you’re telling others about it (visibility, communication)

If either is close to zero, your chances of unexpected opportunities drop.

You don’t just attract luck. You scale it by combining output and visibility.

This model reminds you that if no one sees what you’re building, it can’t spread. But also: empty hype without substance won’t compound either.
