Some decisions never get made they just linger. We tell ourselves we need more time, more data, more clarity. But often, what we really need is a limitation.
Setting an artificial deadline is a forcing function. It turns an open-ended mental loop into a commitment: “By this time, I’ll decide.” That constraint sharpens attention, calms the noise, and surfaces what truly matters. Clarity often arrives because of it.
